TE - 37 - Data Manager (Contract)

We are seeking a Data Manager to identify, validate, and clean up data inconsistencies between Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and Dynamics 365 Business Central.

In this role, you will lead the data audit, implement controls, and recommend corrective actions across IT and business teams to restore data integrity and ensure reliable operations.

Objectives and Outcomes

• Conduct a rapid assessment of current NAV–Business Central integration flows and data domains.

• Reconcile key entities including customers, vendors, items, chart of accounts, and ledgers.

• Perform root-cause analysis of mismatches between systems.

• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to support ongoing data governance.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile deltas across systems and ensure accuracy.

• Execute corrective actions to clean and align data.

• Recommend improvements for integration and data transfers between NAVision and Business Central.

• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure sustainable data quality processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in data handling within ERP systems.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance.

• Strong hands-on expertise with MS Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.

• Solid understanding of master data management and financial/operational data models.
