Bioinformatics Software Developer

To further improve the quality of our data analysis and software, we are looking for a candidate

with exceptional programming skills and a keen interest in algorithm development, software architecture,

and testing. The main focus area will be on algorithm development and testing, pipeline development, and

other novel technology implementations. The candidate will work with the Bioinformatics team to

establish requirements, set priorities, and initiate and support in the development of robust tooling and

analysis to support our innovations. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our data analysis quality and

developing robust software solutions. Collaboration with our Bioinformatics and Lab teams will be a key

aspect of your role, contributing to the development of innovative technologies.

- Masters with 2 years of post-graduate experience or completed PhD in a computational field (e.g.

Computer Science, Bioinformatics)

- Advanced proficiency in Python, experience in compiled language such as Rust or C++ optional

- Experience with NextFlow and Docker is beneficial

- Experience with sequencing data

- Strong communication and collaboration skills required

- Experience in software development, testing and CI/CD tooling

- Experience with Unix/Linux
