11/SM - Mobile App Analyst - Kenya (Android)

Developer profile: We are seeking a Mobile App Analyst to support the ongoing analysis and improvement of an Android app with approximately 25,000 registered users. The role involves working with existing analytics tools and data sources to answer key usage questions, identify meaningful trends, and provide insights that guide product decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with the developer and content team to turn data into clear recommendations for the app’s growth and development.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze app usage data and answer recurring and ad hoc questions about feature performance and user behavior.

• Proactively identify trends, patterns, and insights that can support product improvements.

• Review and critically assess the existing tracking setup across Firebase, Google Analytics, and SQL data sources.

• Build dashboards to make recurring analytics questions easier and faster to answer.

• Translate findings into practical recommendations for the developer and content team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mobile app analytics.

• Strong hands-on experience with Firebase, Google Analytics, and SQL.

• Ability to interpret data critically and communicate insights clearly.

• Experience creating dashboards and reporting frameworks for recurring analysis needs.

• Comfortable working collaboratively while also taking initiative independently.
